Life in Captivity and in Nature

Lions live in groups of 3 up to 40 animals. A typical herd has 1-3 males and a maximum of 15 females.

• Females: up to 15 with it youngs of more ages.
• Males: 2 to 3.

Sences

• Hearing and sight: excellent. Use: to locate the prey.
• Roar: it can be heard by a human being from 5 km distance.
• Sense: it is not used for hunting.

The White Lion

In the zoo of Argentina is a white lion. Is stranger because is white and is emblematic because is the only white lion.
